Introducing Plex Bridge 1.0.0

Plex Bridge 1.0.0 is the first stable release of the module. It brings your personal Plex music library into Foundry VTT while keeping Plex credentials outside player browsers.

Choose how you connect

Personal Gateway

Download the open-source Plex Bridge Gateway, run it on a Windows or Linux machine you control, and connect it to Foundry VTT. Docker is supported.

Hosted service (subscription)

Eligible Buy Me a Coffee memberships include access to the hosted Plex Bridge Gateway. No server, personal domain, TLS certificate, or reverse proxy is required. Current plans, prices, and benefits are listed on Buy Me a Coffee.

Both choices require access to your own Plex Media Server. Some Sonic features require Plex Pass and Plex Sonic Analysis.

Why a Yanklinnomme licence?

The licence gives purchases, community copies, memberships, and hosted-service access one consistent entitlement system. You may configure it in several Foundry worlds or browsers, but only one installation may actively use Plex Bridge at a time. Opening another installation transfers the active lease automatically.

Privacy and security

Plex Bridge never asks for your Plex password. Authorization uses Plex’s official sign-in flow. Your Plex token is stored by the selected Gateway and is never exposed to player browsers.

With the personal Gateway, credentials and media preparation stay on infrastructure you control. With the hosted service, the Plex token is transmitted over HTTPS to the Yanklinnomme-hosted Gateway and stored there so the service can access your Plex server. Audio and artwork are delivered through short-lived signed URLs.

Pricing and community copies

Plex Bridge is sold to support continued development, compatibility work, testing, and documentation. Official community copies, when available, grant the same module entitlement as a purchase and may not be redistributed. Hosted-service access is a separate membership benefit unless explicitly included in your licence portal.
